Representative Ted Davis supports Pro-life Legislation
As a conservative Republican, during the 2019-2020 Session of the North Carolina General Assembly, I was proud to have Co-Sponsored each of the following Bills:
House Bill 53 – A Second Chance For Life, allowing a drug-induced abortion to be reversed after the first dose of medication has been administered.
House Bill 54 – Unborn Child Protection From Dismemberment, prohibiting dismemberment abortions.
House Bill 603 – Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, preventing the abortion of an unborn child capable of feeling pain (postfertilization age of 20 or more weeks) unless it is necessary to prevent a serious health risk to the unborn child’s mother.
House Bill 602 – Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, preventing the killing of a child born after an unsuccessful abortion. A companion (identical) legislation was filed in Senate Bill 359, which passed both the Senate and the House but was vetoed by Governor Roy Cooper. The veto override failed in the House and I watched as the liberal Democrats celebrated after the vote had been taken. I will never forget how awful it made me feel.
I am running for re-election in the new House District 20 against a liberal Democrat. I hope that I will have your support and vote so that I can continue my pro-life fight in the General Assembly in Raleigh.
